NEW Chief Financial Officer / CFO

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the Holding’s financial strategy to ensure long-term sustainability and profitability. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic finance leader who combines strong financial expertise with a hands-on mindset and a passion for building scalable financial structures that support business growth, operational excellence, and investment initiatives.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, shareholders, and board, helping shape the company's future through financial leadership, data-driven decision-making, and organizational transformation.This role oversees Financial planning, Control, Reporting, Treasury and Tax activities across a holding and its portfolio. The experienced and business-oriented CFO plays a key advisory role in strategic decisions and is instrumental in driving financial excellence and transparency throughout the organization. You will provide strategic financial leadership, oversee the day-to-day operations, fulfill the direct sales business targets, such as existing and new business, profitability, additional corporate finance services.

NÁPLŇ PRÁCE

 

  • Strong financial and economic background, including accounting, financial management, controlling, treasury, cash flow management, financing, and working capital optimization
  • Excellent knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations, with proven experience in managing external audits and ensuring compliance
  • Solid experience in M&A transactions, post-merger integrations, corporate reorganizations, and restructuring projects
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and further develop a Group Finance Operating Model, including ERP systems, financial processes, KPI frameworks, cash flow monitoring, and management reporting
  • Experience in building and enhancing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, data-driven reporting, and decision-support systems
  • Strong focus on finance digitalization, process automation, and the implementation of modern technologies, including AI-driven tools, to improve efficiency and financial performance
  • Ability to bridge finance and business operations, acting as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, shareholders, and executive management
  • Demonstrated experience in leading finance teams and establishing effective cross-functional collaboration across the organization
  • Hands-on Approach, willing to actively engage in operational finance activities during the initial stages while building and developing the finance organization and team
  • Strategic Business Partner, trusted advisor to the CEO and board, supporting business growth, investment decisions, and international expansion
  • Focus not only on cost control and financial governance but also on actively driving growth, profitability, and value creation
  • System-Oriented Mindset, ability to establish and optimize financial processes, reporting structures, internal controls, and ERP systems within an underdeveloped or evolving organizational environment
  • Strong capability to build scalable financial infrastructure that supports future growth

POŽADUJEME / PRAX

  • Experience within FMCG, food production, agriculture, food distribution linked to agriculture is considered a significant advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within complex, multi-entity group structures and manage financial activities across multiple business units
  • Strong business and analytical thinking
  • Extensive knowledge of European financial regulations, accounting standards (SK, IFRS), and tax laws
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • English and Slovak language / Expert level
  • Hungarian language / Intermediate level
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role
